The story of "Mildred"

First of all a little bit about myself, my name is Jay, location Southampton Hampshire
At the tender age of 20 (in 1972) I got my first car which of course was a Morris Minor.
Prior to owning a car my other mode of transport was British built motorcycles and up until recently I own a Royal Enfield Bullet.
As time went by and by natural progress I began to replace my car with more modern one's but in the late 70's I ended up owning another Minor due to being hard up at the time.
It was around the 80's when I began to look back in fondness of my youth
(as you do) and decided that one day I would like to go back to my earlier motoring days and get another Minor.
It took me until 2006 when I decided to take the plunge and purchase my present Moggy affectionally named "MILDRED"
Why it took me so long I never know! I think there were so many other things happening in my life at the time I just never got around to it.
The latest edition to our family is a 1970 2 door Police Car called "Percy" issued to the Northamptonshire Police Force. Click here to see photos of it.
